This module, studies the terminology of Hadeeth, the efforts of the Muhadditheen (Hadeeth scholars) to develop the foundations of the sciences of Hadeeth, and the rules that govern narration of Hadeeth.

This module, emphasises memorisation of selected Hadeeths, to enable the student to comprehend their meanings and to begin to extrapolate some rulings from them, as well as to understand their sources.
